What should education look like after 2030?
How do young people see the world, what changes do they want to see in education and what are they willing to do themselves? These and many more are the questions asked by UNESCO’s survey of children and young people aged 11-30.
UNESCO wants to hear from young people and launched global youth and student consultations to co-design the #EducationBeyond2030 Agenda.
INDIVIDUALS: If you are between 11 and 30, do not let others decide your future but get involved and have your voice heard.
FOR GROUPS: While everyone can respond individually to the Global Survey, because the issues raised are complex, it is equally important to create spaces for collective discussion and group exchange of views. For this reason, UNESCO invites all those working with young people to organize discussions around the Global Survey questions and submit a group response that reflects the views of the young people surveyed. You are therefore in the best position to benefit from this comprehensive guide for classroom discussion.
The Agenda will be presented to world leaders at the upcoming World Education Summit in early 2027 to serve as a basis for developing the post-2030 education agenda.
