The YC4P dedicated e-learning course is on air!
The course aims at increasing understanding and develop skills related to sustainability challenges, related policies, awareness raising and the care approach, etc. of members of the youth initiatives that participate in the project. It includes five Modules on:
- Environmental challenges in the Mediterranean region in relation to causes and impacts of climate change; water resources vulnerability; pollution issues and biodiversity loss;
- Insights on the sustainability concept, the green transition and the care approach; their dimensions and evolution and how can contribute to the challenges;
- UN, EU and regional policies in place for tackling the environmental issues;
- How Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and Youth green actions based on care can have effective transformative impact at the local level
The course includes related online resources such as videos, case studies and stories, published papers, weblinks, etc. as well as tools for sharing and interaction (padlets, triciders, etc.)
It is self-paced / asnchronous, it takes about 15 learning hours to read all content and fill in the pre and post-tests and it leads to certificate of succesful participation.
