The Action Plan of the Mediterranean Strategy on ESD aims to facilitate the implementation of the Strategy and, as appropriate, the provisions on ESD of all other relevant Conventions and International Bodies by all the countries of the Mediterranean region through appropriate activities of governments and other competent stakeholders.
The Action Plan was endorsed in the Ministerial Conference on ESD in Nicosia, Cyprus in December 2016 (family photo) hosted and supported by the Ministry of Education of Cyprus and organised by MEdIES of MIO-ECSDE in cooperation with UfM, UNEP MAP, UNESCO and UNESCO Venice, UNECE, LAS.
