In the framework of the project YOU(th)CARE for CHANGE MEdIES animated school workshops in 6 Secondary Schools in the wider Attica region.

Between February and March MEdIES visited five High Schools and one Middle School and engaged 315 students in a 2-hours long participatory workshop based on the “Active Citizenship Actions & ESD” school curriculum.

The Workshop invited the students:

  • to exchange and share on contemporary challenges – climate crisis, degradation of the natural environment, social inequalities, poverty, etc.;
  • to focus and prioritize issues of concern for them and  their community;
  • to explore their own values related to the current challenges;
  • to get informed about the Sustainable Development Global (SDGs) and the care approach also through concrete practices, to address the challenges.
