Welcome to MEdIES, the long standing education initiative of MIO-ECSDE !
MEdIES, the Mediterranean Education Initiative for Environment and Sustainability, is an e-network of approximately 5,000 formal and non-formal educators from the Mediterranean – and beyond.
The website serves as an interactive point for sharing news, projects, initiatives, etc. on Environmental Education (EE) or Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), from all around the world.
The site serves also as an online library of reference texts of EE and ESD, as well as publications in many languages.
All members of MEdIES e-network are welcome to enrich the site with their own educational activities and news at local, national or regional level, so as to help us maintain an accurate resource.
