Between June and September 2022 MEdIES facilitated the Secretariat of the Mediterranean Committee on Education for Sustainable Development (MCESD) in the preparation of the revised Action Plan of the Mediterranean Strategy on ESD (MSESD) towards 2030. The revised texts were shared with the Ministries of Education of the Mediterranean countries and the IGOs participating in the MCESD, to receive comments and feedback.
The finalized text was adopted during a High-Level Event of the Mediterranean Education and Environment Ministers within the 9th EfE Conference in Nicosia, Cyprus (5-7 October 2022). The text can support policy officers from the Mediterranean countries to embed ESD in curricula, teachers’ trainings, and processes. Read more here.
