Advancing ESD Policy in Jordan
Jordan completed and launched in 2021 the “Environmental Education for Sustainability Strategy (EEfS)”. Jordan, through the Ministry of Environment is participating in the Mediterranean Committee on ESD since 2016 following the implementation of the Mediterranean Strategy on ESD.
The EEfS co-created by the Directorate of Communication and Awareness (DCA) of the Ministry of Environment. The United Nations Development Programme -Jordan (UNDP – Jordan) provided technical assistance and financial support for the preparation of this strategy.
