UNESCO launched the 2020 edition of the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the use of Information and Communication Technologies in education.

Funded by the Kingdom of Bahrain and established in 2005, the Prize rewards projects that use new technologies to enhance teaching, learning and overall education performance.

The theme of the 2020 edition is “The use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance the continuity and quality of learning”.

Two awards will be granted, and each recipient will receive a monetary award of USD 25,000 during the Award Ceremony at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.

The nomination process takes place via an online platform<http://www.unesco.org/ict-ed-prize>   The online submissions in English or French with a nomination letter (as attachment) issued by an NGO in official partnership with UNESCO should be submitted via the online platform by 18 December 2020 (midnight, Paris time).
