MEdIES/MIO team was excited to be part in the Networking Forum of YOU(th)CARE in Tangier and Rabat from 15 to 18 June, that brought together some 70 youth delegates, civil society & project partners!
The programme of the event was so intensive but enriching including our Annual steering committee meeting; Getting-to-know each other & connections-building sessions; Workshops & a public roundtable on the various facets of freedom of movement; inspiring exchanges on migration, mobility, care, intersectionality; and a closing artistic performance “Est-ce que j’écoute?” by Btissame Mssilea.
Last but not least, the event gave us the opportunity to continue, enrich and validate the participatory design of the YC Campaign “Reclaiming Spaces” that started early in 2026 in the assembly space – during two dedicated campaign workshops, from which more ideas on territorial/local advocacy campaign actions poped-up and attached to the central campaigns!
After four days of meetings between youth delegates, civil society, and partners from the 12 YOU(th) CARE countries, it became clear that we continue to build a common agenda on care, rights and sustainability in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
