The Directorates of Primary and Secondary Education of Piraeus together with MIO-ECSDE/ MEdIES, HERCCO, the Centre of Environmental Education (CEE) of Drapetsona and in collaboration with a number of municipalities around Piraeus and a number of islands organised the two virtual seminars titled:
“Waste Management in our schools, in our houses and in our Municipality”
Tuesday 20/04/21, 18:00 – 20:30: Around 90 educators participated from the municipalities of Keratsini – Drapetsona, Nikaia – Agios Ioannis Rentis, Salamina Isl, Aegina Isl, Agistri Isl, Troizinia-Methana, Poros Isl.
Thursday 22/04/21, 18:00 – 20:30: More than 90 educators participated from the municipalities of Piraeus, Korydallos, Perama, Hydra Isl, Spetses Isl and Kythira – Antikythira Isl.
Both Seminars were live streamed via the MEdIES Facebook page attracting further audiences and had an important outreach in social media.
