YOUthCARE4planet
A project aiming to support a new environmentally conscious generation in planning, acting, advocating and accessing decision making to drive sustainable change in Italy, Tunisia and Egypt. In a nutshel
From September 2025 to Sepember 2027 the 24Month YouthCARE4Planet aims to empower youth, promote sustainable practices, and strengthen cooperation across the Mediterranean. Through innovative activities, training, and community engagement, the project brings together partners across the region to create a positive impact on local communities and the environment.
YouthCARE4Planet goes beyond meetings and theoretical plans—it focuses on making a real difference on the ground. Through green labs and participatory projects, youth and NGOs will:
- Design and implement local environmental initiatives that improve communities
- Gain hands-on skills in ecological project management and civic engagement
- Map and share best practices, enabling successful initiatives to be replicated across countries

YOUth Green CARE Tools
Starting with a mapping study in Egypt, Tunisia, and Italy, a participatory analysis of youth initiatives informs the creation of Local Adaptation Plans (LAPs), supported by capacity-building activities and collaborative meetings. This phase fosters a virtual learning community, promoting ongoing dialogue and peer learning among youth participants.

YOUth Green CARE Actions
Efforts focus on co-designing projects aligned with the Local Adaptation Plans (LAPs), with selected pilot initiatives receiving coaching, customized services, and necessary equipment. Comprehensive participatory impact reports will document the effects of these actions.

YOUth Green CARE Voicing
This phase amplifies the impact of the pilot actions through networking meetings and international exchange sessions. These activities promote synergies, share best practices, and culminate in a 3-day International Youth Green CARE Forum, showcasing the project’s impact.
