Loop Lab – Junior Achievement Greece Student Enterprise
22 students from the Experimental Senior High School of the University of Macedonia (Greece) embarked on a unique journey into entrepreneurship through the “Virtual Enterprise 2025” program by Junior Achievement Greece. Their in the international Foodathon competition exposed them to the major challenges of the agri-food sector and left us with a profound concern: If all of the planet’s ecosystems are in crisis, and if the circular economy and sustainable development are crucial for humanity’s future, then why is education struggling to keep up with these developments? Why aren’t we learning about sustainability, viability, and the circular economy—especially in the primary sector, which plays an indisputable role in humanity’s future?
That’s how the idea of the Loop Lab Student Enterprise was born with the slogan “put Innovation in Green Education!” The vision is to bring the circular economy into daily life and reconnect people with sustainable food production. How will we achieve this? Through education and play.
Discover the Loop Lab Products based on the philosophy of aquaponics: Circular economy lab kits and Educational kits and game kits and activities for primary and secondary schools, vocational training institutes, universities, and research institutions, supporting natural sciences, sustainability, environmental technologies, STEM enabling students and trainees to participate in interactive workshops and develop green skills through hands-on experiences.
