In collaboration with GWP-Med, MIO-ECSDE/MEdIES runs systematically in Greece the Campaign “Water in the City / the Gift of Rain” that is aspiring to create a new water-culture in young studend. The Campaign has been approved by the Greek Education Ministry, and has been implemented for more than 15 years in various regons of Greece.
School Interventions in Chalkida region-2026: During May 2026 MEdIES staff visited five schools in Chalkida region and engaged 210 students of Primary Schools in hands-on playful activities in order to sensitise them on topics around the water cycle, NCWRs and responsible water consumption.
