In the light of COP30 in Brazil WAMUNET in collaboration with the Museu das Águas Brasileiras, the ALANA Institute and the Local Youth Conference – YOUNGO events, invites children and teenagers to write letters about how climate change affects their lives and their communities! The aim is to ensure that their voices and ideas are heard in the decisions that will shape the future of our planet.
All letters will be delivered to the COP30 Presidency, while efforts will be made so that these contributions are considered in official documents.
Letters should be submitted in PDF format by October 10th to museudaagua@uft.edu.br (to the attention of : Liliana Pena Naval ).
Two resources are available to introduce COP30 and provide practical tips on writing letters: a Step-by-Step Guide for Young Leaders and a Teacher’s Guide. You are welcome to adapt the materials to your context!
