The call of the 6th edition of The Water We Want (TWWW) youth contest on the precious water legacies, both natural and cultural, tangible and intangible, has just open! All submitted artworks must focus on freshwater & issues related to biodiversity, climate change, and the diverse facets of water legacies – both natural and cultural, tangible and intangible heritage.

The competition is open to students from 4 age groups:

  •  6 to 9 years old (primary education)
  • 10 to 12 years old (primary education)
  • 13 to 18 years old (secondary education)
  • 19 to 25 years old (higher education)

Entries are accepted in the following categories:

  •  Drawings (individual or classwork compositions)
  • Videos and other media (including videos, pictures, posters, poems, soundscapes, and songs – even reinterpretations of traditional music related to water).

Any school or teacher interested in participating should contact the closest water museum affiliated with the Global Network of Water Museums, and after working on their original, eligible entries, they should sumbit to the water museum (not directly to WAMU-NET) by 26 April 2025
