During the UN climate conference COP26 , you’ve probably been seeing a lot of jargon used around. e.g. “mitigation”, “carbon neutral”, etc. that might be be overwhelming and confusing. Ginve that climate reports are often written at a scientific level it is helpful to have clarifyied some of the terms and vocabulary used.
The TED.ED prepared a short guide on common terms appeared in reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in cooperation with the United Nations Foundation. that can help you keep up with the news about climate change.
Actually, selected people were interviewed about these terms, gave feedback and thus, the guide is based on that feedback to explain terms in everyday language.
