Conference of the Bordeaux UNESCO chair on ESD (27-29 May 2019)

The UNESCO Chair in Education, Training and Research for Sustainable Development is organizing its third international conference, from 27 to 29 May 2019 at the National Polytechnic Institute in Bordeaux, on the theme "Education for sustainable development, a transition lever for our societies ".
Registration to the conference is free, within the limits of the available places, and will benefit from simultaneous French-English translation.

Once more, UNESCO brings together its actors and partners to share innovative solutions to contemporary challenges. Thanks to its experience and expertise in the fields of Education, Sciences (both natural, and social and human sciences), Culture and Communication, UNESCO contributes through holistic, sustainable approaches to resolve issues impacting the governance and management of water.

Calling SDG advocates, creators, influencers and stakeholders to co-design the NEXT Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development. 

The Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development features a range of sessions, innovations and performances, all contributing to the Festival experience. 

In order to create a diverse, dynamic and inclusive event for the international SDG community, the UN SDG Action Campaign are calling for sessions, innovations, films, artist contributions and will strive to recognise and celebrate some of the greatest SDG achievements through the SDG Action Awards!

If you want to be part of te agenda, the deadline to submit your idea is 14 Jan 2019!

The 14th meeting of the Steering Committee is expected, among others, to explore ESD for achieving SDGs through the engagement of youth and outline the draft workplan for the post-2019 implementation framework.
