This is a proposal for teachers to carry out an experiential activity in class, to address the Greenhouse effect. It has been successfully applied at secondary level students (12-15 yrs) in a high school of Greece. It requires few, easy to find materials, and it takes 1-2 school hours. It can be carried out as a 'warm up' starting activity of an EE / ESD programme, followed by other extension activities, or to enrich a typical physics, or science lesson.
